The JERAMI Journal (Journal of Agronomy Indonesia), which has been published since January 2008, is the official scientific journal of Perhimpunan Agronomi Indonesia (PERAGI) Regional Chapter of West Sumatra as one of its contributions to the development of agricultural science, specifically agronomy, published in both Indonesian and English. The journal is published three times a year, in January, May, and September. However, the journal experienced a hiatus for several years.

Then in 2018, JERAMI Journal resumed publication under the new name Jerami-Indonesian Journal of Crop Science (JIJCS) and transitioned into an international journal under the auspices of the Faculty of Agriculture, Andalas University. The focus and scope of the journal include agronomy, plant physiology, seed science, plant breeding, crop production systems and management, plant modeling, agroclimatology, soil science (environmental), and pest and disease control. The journal is published twice a year, in February and August.
